Camaraderie Social House brings a storied Water Street name back to life.
The original Camaraderie opened in 1971 and became a longtime Eau Claire gathering place affectionately known as “The Cam.” In 2005, Dooley’s Pub took over the same 442 Water Street space, continuing its tradition as a familiar destination for generations of locals and UW–Eau Claire students.
Now, Camaraderie Social House begins the next chapter.
Rooted in the character of the building and the history of the neighborhood, Camaraderie pairs a swanky supper club atmosphere with the lively, welcoming energy of a social house. The menu is designed around gathering and sharing, with steaks, game meats, seafood, thoughtfully composed plates, weekend brunch and Wisconsin influences alongside a cocktail-forward bar program.
Dark woods, warm lighting and tasteful updates preserve the personality of the space while giving it a richer, more polished feel. Whether it’s dinner for two, a table full of friends, drinks at the bar or a late night on Water Street, Camaraderie is built around what the name has always represented: good food, good drinks and good company.
