Ember Hospitality Group is a hospitality holding company founded by Brad and Bre Hansen in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. We create, operate, and grow restaurant, tavern, taproom, and entertainment concepts rooted in community, experience, and long-term opportunity.
Who We Are
Ember Hospitality Group was founded in May 2026 with a vision to build hospitality brands that people are proud to gather around.
Our first business, The Phoenix Taproom & Kitchen, began in downtown Eau Claire as a waterfront taproom, restaurant, cocktail bar, and community gathering place. From there, Ember was created to support future growth, new concepts, operational leadership, and strategic expansion across Wisconsin and the Midwest.
We believe great hospitality is built through strong brands, strong operations, great people, and places that feel connected to their communities.

Current growth priorities include expanding The Phoenix into select waterfront and destination markets, including La Crosse, Wisconsin, while also developing one-of-a-kind local concepts that fit their buildings, neighborhoods, and communities.
